Information we collect

Account information

Your name, email address and password when you sign up. Passwords are stored only as a bcrypt hash — we never store or have access to the password itself. You may also optionally provide your WhatsApp number, agency name and a short description of your agency.

WhatsApp messages

If you message our WhatsApp business number, Meta delivers your phone number, the message content and any photos you send to our servers so we can build your listing. We use your phone number to link the conversation to your PlotLabs account and to reply to you.

Property content

The photos and details you submit — price, locality, city, bedrooms, area, amenities and your notes about the property.

Technical data

A single sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, plus standard server logs.

On our public pages — the homepage, pricing, and the listing pages realtors share with buyers — we also use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, and the Meta Pixel so we can show our own ads to people who have looked at PlotLabs. Both set cookies in your browser and both receive the address of the page you are on.

Neither runs inside a realtor’s dashboard. Those pages carry listing identifiers and agency names, and we do not send that to an advertising network as a side effect of measuring our marketing.

You can stop both by turning on “Do Not Track” blocking or an ad blocker in your browser, or by using the ad settings Google and Meta provide. Nothing about the product stops working if you do.

How we use it

• To generate listing pages and PDF brochures from the material you send us
• To write property descriptions from the notes you provide
• To reply to you on WhatsApp and send you your listing links
• To operate your account, enforce plan limits and process payments
• To keep the service secure and diagnose faults

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to train AI models.

Published listings are public

This is the most important thing to understand about the service. When you publish a listing, its page becomes publicly accessible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines. It shows the property photos, the description, the property details and your agency name. Your phone number is shown only if you switch that on in Settings — it is off by default. Unpublished drafts stay private to your account.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors, each for a specific purpose:

• Meta Platforms — delivers WhatsApp messages between you and us.
• Google — Google Analytics receives the pages visited on our public site, along with the approximate location and device that most analytics services collect. It is not used inside a realtor’s dashboard.
• Meta Platforms — in addition to delivering WhatsApp messages, the Meta Pixel on our public pages lets us show PlotLabs ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the site. It is not used inside a realtor’s dashboard.
• Anthropic — the property notes you write are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to draft your listing description. Your notes are processed to produce that text and are not used to train their models.
• Razorpay — processes payments if you buy a paid plan. Payment details go directly to Razorpay; we never see or store them. We send Razorpay the WhatsApp number on your account so it can reach you about the payment, and we keep the reference it returns so we can match your payment to your account.
• Our hosting provider — stores the application, database and your uploaded photos.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How long we keep it

Account and listing data is kept while your account is open. If you delete a listing, its record and photos are removed. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet legal or tax obligations.

Your rights

You can access and correct most of your information directly in your dashboard. You may also ask us to provide a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to hello@plotlabs.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in India, these rights are provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

Traffic is served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, sessions use signed HTTP-only cookies, and every WhatsApp webhook is cryptographically verified before we act on it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

PlotLabs is a tool for property professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.
